Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Himalayan Holidays. By booking a trip or using our services, you (“you”, “your”, “traveller”, “guest”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they define the relationship between you and The Himalayan Holidays (“we”, “us”, “our”, “company”).

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed only after receiving full or partial payment, as specified at the time of booking.

  • You must provide accurate personal details (name, ID proof, contact information) for travel arrangements. Any incorrect details may result in cancellation or delays for which we are not responsible.

  • The company reserves the right to accept or decline any booking at its discretion.

2. Payments & Pricing

  • Prices are quoted in INR and are subject to change due to fuel surcharges, taxes, or changes by hotels/transport providers.

  • Full payment must be completed before the start of the trip.

  • Payments are accepted via UPI, net banking, debit/credit cards, or other approved modes

3. Cancellations & Refunds

· Cancellation by Traveller:

  • More than 30 days before trip: 80% refund.

  • 15–29 days before trip: 50% refund.

  • Less than 15 days before trip: No refund.

· Cancellation by Company:

  • In case of unforeseen events (weather conditions, natural calamities, political unrest, or insufficient group size), we may cancel or postpone a trip. In such cases, travellers will be offered an alternate trip or full refund.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–14 working days.

4. Traveller Responsibilities


By booking with us, you agree to:

· Follow all safety instructions given by guides and coordinaton.

  • Carry valid identification and necessary documents.

  • Disclose any medical condition that may affect your participation in treks/trips.

  • Respect local culture, environment, and fellow travellers.

  • Avoid irresponsible behaviour, use of drugs, or unlawful activities.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the trip without refund.

5. Health, Safety & Risk

  • Travel and trekking involve certain risks (injuries, altitude sickness, weather hazards, delays). By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

  • We strongly recommend taking travel/health insurance.

  • The company will not be liable for injury, loss, or damage to person or property arising from events beyond reasonable control.

6. Changes to Itinerar

  • Itineraries are planned in advance but may change due to weather, roadblocks, safety concerns, or government regulations.

  • The company reserves the right to make necessary changes for the safety and comfort of the group.

7. Use of Photos & Media

  • By joining our trips, you consent to the use of photographs/videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes by The Himalayan Holidays, unless you explicitly inform us in writing not to do so.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We act as a facilitator between travellers and service providers (hotels, transport, etc.) and are not liable for third-party failures.

  • Our maximum liability, in any case, will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the trip.

9. Privacy

Your personal information will be collected and used only in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts.
